Product Description

Large diameter HDPE hollow wall winding pipe extrusion machine

Hollow wall winding pipe is mainly used for sewage system, same as double wall corrugated pipe. Compared with double wall corrugated pipe, it have advantages of low machine investment cost and larger pipe diameter.
Our PE hollow winding pipe extrusion line can process several kinds of material, including HDPE, PP, etc, size from minimum 200mm to 4000mm with single layer or multi-layer.
Changing some parts can produce different shape of pipe or profile to form different kinds of spiral pipe.

Performance characteristics:1.The main extruder adopts efficient single screw extruder ensuring high speed and perfect quality extrusion.2.Composite head is used with spiral rotational molding type with ingenious structure and unique design to ensure product quality. 3.Pipe product has high ring stiffness, mining used anti-static mash gas drainage and exhaust pipes can be produced by this machine.
4.Special pipe connection with convenient operation and economic construction.

Process Flow

Process 1: Raw materials will be heated, melted, further mixed and plasticized inside screw and barrel of extruder. Plasticized melt will be pushed by screw and move into the flow channel of die head.
Process 2: The die head is also with heating function. Heated melt will flow through flow channel inside die head to form pipe shape. The hot melt in pipe shape comes out from die head will go to the vacuum tank.
Process 3: The vacuum tank creates vacuum and have cooling water spray inside tank body. At the entrance of the vacuum tank, there is calibration sleeve, the hot melt will go through calibration sleeve. The calibration sleeve inside shape is square, to make square pipe. Vacuum will make pipe outer surface clung to calibration sleeve. And cooling water will cooling the melt. Pipe will form in this stage and will move to cooling tank for further cooling.
Process 4: Square pipe is pulled by winding machine. Winding machine has extruder to extrude hot glue to make square pipe attached to each other and spirally winded to formded into hollow wall winding pipe.
Process 5: When hollow wall winding pipe formed, it will move to cutter.
Process 6: Cutter can cut pipe by required length. After cutting, pipe will move to stacker. Stacker has roller to move pipe spirally, need forklift or crane to unload pipe.

Extrusion Die Head.

Extrusion die head apply spiral structure, each material flow channel is placed evenly. Each channel is after heat treatment and mirror polishing to ensure material flow smoothly.
Die head structure is compact and also provide stable pressure, always from 19 to 20Mpa. Under this pressure, pipe quality is good and very little effect on the output capacity. Can produce single layer or multi-layer pipe.
According to line speed difference, we provide different design of die head.

Vacuum Tank.

Vacuum tank is used to shape and cool pipe, so as to reach standard pipe size. We use double-chamber structure. First chamber is in short length, with pipe soak into water to ensure very strong cooling and vacuum function. As calibrator is placed in the front of first chamber and pipe shape is formed mainly by calibrator, this design can ensure quick and better forming and cooling of pipe.

Haul off unit provides sufficient traction force to pull square pipe into the winding machine. Usually, haul off unit is for big square pipe, not necessary for small square pipe. According to different pipe sizes and thickness, our company will customize traction speed, effective traction length. To ensure match pipe extrusion speed and forming speed, also avoid deformation of pipe during traction.
